Quick update on Brii (my son Tyler’s girlfriend): As most of you know, 11 months ago she was in a car wreck and almost died. She was thrown through the windshield and had severe brain trauma. No broken bones, but lots of lacerations (especially on her face) and her leg had been hyperextended. We were told she probably wouldn’t live - they told us almost no one with her level of trauma survives it. She ended up being in a coma for five weeks, and we didn’t know if she would ever wake up, let alone recover normal brain function if she did. Well, this is her now! She’s had several surgeries on her leg and it’s almost back to normal now, and she has some memory issues but that keeps improving. She’s doing amazing!
